Singing the Blues

We had the worst flu go through our house. Thankfully neither J or I got it, but it sure hit the kids hard. It lasted a little over a week, Josiah went down a pant size but is gaining it back quickly and Jessie just couldn't shake the fever but when it finally broke she smiled and we knew the worst was over!!!

Just feeling miserable!

Lake of the Woods

We spent a weekend with our friends John and Nola at their cabin in the Lake of the Woods. It was so much fun! They have three sons Jackson who is 4 months older than Josiah, and Oliver and Hudson who are 3 months older than Jessie. You can imagine 5 kids under 3 is busy but fun was had by all. The surroundings were beautiful, Josiah loved the canoe and hanging out with his buddy Jackson. Jessie found the sun bright but dipped her toes into the chilly water, and when all the kids were asleep the moms and dads even enjoyed a midnight swim! It was a great weekend!

Josiah and the New Climber

Josiah was excited about the climber at the store but when it appeared in his own back yard after a Saturday afternoon nap he was very thrilled! He was up and down over and over again!! He likes to climb and jump so this little climber has come to right place! Enjoy!

Jessie Girl

Jessie has such a strong body and plants her feet so solidly that we decided we'd try her in the Jolly Jumper.....to our surprise she was very very comfortable with it and figured out how to turn herself and seemed to enjoy being able to look her brother in the eye!!! We were all so proud of her! Jessie is just 3 months old!
